AVS Paws For A Cause is a pet friendly 5k and 1-mile walk to support the AVS Charitable Fund through the Veterinary Care Foundation. With each registration you will receive a free t-shirt (register by 10/20/17 to guarantee your shirt) and a medal. This community event will have music, pet friendly vendors, a pet costume contest, pet photo booth, and information on adoptable pets!
The 2nd Annual AVS Paws For A Cause 5K & 1 Mile Walk is being held in beautiful Nocatee on Saturday, November 4, 2017. The event includes vendor booths, a pet costume contest, raffle drawings for those who donate, food trucks, shelter animals in need of adoption, music and lots of fun. It’s best to pre-register but last minute walk ups are welcome. Registration begins at 8am. The 5K starts at 9am.. The 5K Race awards will be announced at 10:20 am. The Walk kicks off at 10:40am Costume contest begins at 11:15 am. Costume & Raffle winners will be announced at 11:30am. Flyball Demonstration due to begin at 11:40am. Event wraps up at noon. All proceeds will benefit the AVS Charitable Fund to help pet owners pay for needed specialty care at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists when they otherwise would not be able to afford it. Donations are 100% tax deductible and will help AVS help the pets we love!
